Being a military family my husband has been deployed over the holidays for most years so it is a low key season with little tradition sad to say but I still put the tree up and various decorations to feel more festive.

Woohoo! Happy Birthday! I'll be turning 29 about the same time! :) I don't feel old yet, I feel like this is my (our) prime! lol.

Happy Birthday Leanne!!! You only got better with age, babe!

Soooo, you want a holiday tradition. Mostly it is the decorations. I put on my headphones and listen to Godsmack and Pink, while I decorate. Well at least for the last few years. Yeah, I don't turn on the traditional music at all. Thought my CD of White Trash Christmas is a hoot and always fun to sing to too!
Happy Birthday Leanne! *hugs*

My fav holiday tradition? Hmm... I love Valentine's Day! I listen to music, and my friends all want to know what I want for my birthday, which is two days later... YES my birthday is a holiday! (Well, at least it is sometimes... More than once, I've had President's day fall on the 16th, so I got the day off from school...)

Happy Happy Birthday! I hope you had wonderful day! Don't forget... we are like fine wine because we get better with age. And take that from experience. ;)

Thanks for celebrating by offering to give us something. Very generous of you!

Happy Birthday. I celebrate most holidsys by pretending that i have other plans so my family will leave me alone. Then i treat myself. I have a year round tree that has lights and decor for all sessons and holidays. The only exceptions to the family avoidance are my 5 year old neice and 7 year old nephew. This year i was sick in bed from turkey day until now. Boyfriend and i go hiking if weather is nice. I also like movies. I would love joan swan since my pen nameis julianna swan iread2xs at ymail dot com

Happy Birthday!

One of my favorite holiday traditions is helping my parents decorate the outside of their house. I go home for Halloween and help put on a haunted yard of sorts for the tricker treaters.

Happy Birthday!!! We don't do a whole lot to get ready except Christmas and the kids and I decorate and listen to Christmas music. Although this year I am going to try to do a surprise party for my husband. Shhhh!

Happy Birthday! 33 isn't bad at all (I just turned 37).

Holiday tradition that gets me in the mood for them would be decorating for the holiday, whichever it is. Also shopping for something for my nieces & nephews for the holidays.

Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you have a great day!!!

Happy Birthday :D
Our holiday tradition is to get the entire family together and go see the Magical Lights at Lake Lanier. This year my 14 month old nephew had a blast. We get out the cars and take pics in front of the light displays.

Traditions to prepare for the holidays, decorating, the house, the tree, packages, crafting, baking....It is a fun, wonderful, busy time. I love it all!!
It is also my birthday today (the 31st!) I am the big 50 today. Woo hoo!! People have asked, of course. I do notice I feel my age sometimes now. But mostly, I keep thinking what I thought 50 would be like when I was 20-30-40...I definitely do NOT feel like that! LOL
I am lucky and blessed. I hope you are too.
Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Leanne!!

Holiday's for me is spent with family, and sometimes we don't get to celebrate them on the day everyone else does, cause of my moms and i working schedules.

Happy Birthday to you! I hope you get everything you've been wishing for and more!
To get ready for the holidays, usually decorating or listening to holiday music puts me in the mood for it.

Usually I try to start any holiday with a little destressing so I can make it through in high spirits. That usually means good music and some escapist reading. Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday Leanne. Birthdays are relative. You look great. Count yourself lucky that you're only 33. You could be my daughter. I eat chocolate to get into the Valentine's Day mood. Oh, that's not exactly true. I eat chocolate every day. Hope your birthday is a wonderful one.
I'm signing as anonymous but it's me....

Happy birthday! It would be decorating the Christmas tree.

The Holiday tradition that has evolved for me is going to visit my younger sister (17) at her aunt's house for Christmas Eve. They have a potluck for all the family and open the family gifts from those that are there but that they won't see on Christmas. It has become the tradition since our mother and her father have passed away.

Happy Birthday! I get ready for the holiday's by baking! I was an amature cake decorator so I have all these cool tips and gadgets that my nieces love! I make a big batch of sugar cookies to cut out Halloween (may favorite) or Christmas (second favorite) shapes and the four of us get together and decorate the cookies. Not sure which is more fun...the decorating or the eating!!
