A Night With A Marquess

Born on the wrong side of the blanket, matchmaker Sophie Reynard understands the consequences of unbridled desire all too well. Despite the many highborn friends she has matched, falling in love with an aristocrat without a pedigree of her own would be an act of futility. But that doesn’t stop her from succumbing to one evening of anonymous passion…

A Lifetime Of Desire

Nicholas Tenbury, Marquess of Ancroft, knows nothing of Sophie’s lineage. He knows only that the enchanting beauty captured his heart in one night and then fled, leaving no trace of her identity. But when he seeks answers from London’s finest matchmaker, he finds none other than the woman herself-stubbornly refusing to acknowledge the attraction they share! Now the enamored Marquess has no choice but to sway Sophie with seduction…

Sent away to college in America, Evangeline swore she would never return to England. Anger loses its value when tragedy forces her home to assume ownership of the family's beloved Greco-Roman museum.

Placing a foolish, drunken kiss on a Greek statue in the museum's basement, Evangeline unknowingly frees a Spartan prince from an evil oracle's curse. Suddenly, her lonely life is invaded by the rakish man with knowing emerald green eyes who never eats or sleeps, and seems to know her every thought and feeling.

Falling in love is dangerous, especially when it's with a man who has already been claimed by the bitter oracle, Demona. From the moment of her kiss, Evangeline is swept into Dorien's world of mystery, danger, and passion. The oracle's fury only mounts as they unravel Demona's darkest secrets, but not before Demona finds out about their unborn half-breed immortal twins.

Demona uses her knowledge of the future to manipulate and destroy, but sometimes love…

Hannah Howell's extraordinary Wherlocke family returns with the story of a passion that will heed no resistance, no matter how deadly. . .

But so should falling in love with a man she's only just met. . .

Pursued by a madman intent on harnessing the Wherlockes' talents as weapons, Argus meant to seek help from his family, not to involve a duke's lovely daughter in the struggle. But now, the enchanting Lorelei is his only hope for salvation—and the greatest temptation he's ever faced. .

What can I say about “The Heir” that hasn’t been already said?? While it follows along the same line as most historical romances, it had wonderful differences too.

The hero was a rogue bachelor. Big surprise there! Not too many historicals do…

5 Stars for Marilyn Baron's "A Choir of Angels"

Image
A heartwarming supernatural tale of a family’s tragedy and a wedding promise unfulfilled. How far will a mother go to sing at her daughter’s wedding? Nothing, not even a little thing like death, is going to cheat Rhonda Paver out of celebrating the happiest day of her daughter’s life. Even if she has to cross over to the other side to do it.
This story warms the heart and make you laugh, though it is short it's worth reading.  A wonderful mother who will do anything for her child, Rhonda makes sure to be there to help her daughter choose a wedding dress and sing at her daughter's wedding.  There is the perfect amount of humour and sadness.  One minute you are smiling and the next your heart is heavy.  For such a short story the emotions it incites is amazing.  "A Choir of Angels" is truly worth reading, all components of a great read are there and it will leave you smiling.

Enjoying the show by Marie Harte!!! 5 STARS!!!

Hailey Jennison is smart, funny and, unfortunately, stacked like a blonde brick house. She’s well aware the impact her looks have on the male gender, and she hates it. Socially awkward, she keeps to a safe, boring routine, meeting friends once a week for dinner, some laughs, and entertainment.

Entertainment comes in the form of a little harmless voyeurism, watching the living, breathing sex god across the quad parade around his apartment half-naked. Hailey watches and yearns, indulging in this weekly fantasy that almost—but not quite—satisfies her every desire.

When Gage catches Hailey in the act of ogling him, he gives her a choice—go out with him, or he’ll call the cops. But he has no intention of calling the law down on every man’s wet dream. For he’s been watching her, as well. And he has plans to fulfill her naughty fantasies.
The Blurb explains the book pretty well but what it doesn't say is: I loved this book! It was funny and charming. Witty and heart warming. But most of all …

A 5 Star Book Review for Trinity (The Brethren Series) by Deena Remiel

One way or another, terror will reign tonight...

School teacher and single mom, Emma Livingston, has been through hell—and back so she thinks. While dealing with the night terrors and active imagination of her five-year old daughter, Hannah, she attempts to lead a normal life. That is, until the demon from those nightmares pays her a visit, too, and threatens both of their lives. Desperate, she reaches out for help—and finds Michael waiting.

Michael D’Angelo is known to everyone in Prophet’s Point, Arizona, as their loving elementary school principal. But to The Brethren, he is the most powerful Protector. Immortal and angelic does not mean he’s without doubts or fears, as protecting Emma and Hannah from Evil tests his ability to fight his tortured past.

As the Trinity is formed, ancient secrets are revealed and faith is tested. When a prophecy is exposed, Hannah becomes the main target and Emma wonders if a normal life will ever be possible again. Hope is like an anchor, but can a mo…

Pale Demon by Kim Harrison Review

Condemned to death for black magic and shunned, Rachel Morgan has three days to somehow get to the annual witches convention in San Francisco and clear her name. If she fails, the only way she can escape death is to live in the demonic ever after . . . for ever after.

Banned from the flight lists, Rachel teams up with elven tycoon Trent Kalamack, headed for the West Coast for his own mysterious business. But Rachel isn’t the only passanger along for the ride. Can a witch, an elf, a living vampire, and a pixy in one car survive for over 2,300 miles? And that’s not counting the assassin on their tail.

A fearsome demon walks the sunlight, freed after centuries of torment to slay the innocent and devour souls. But his ultimate prey is Rachel Morgan. While the powerful witch with nerves of steel will do whatever it takes to stay alive, even embracing her own demonic nature may not be enough to save her.
Rachel was in a heap of trouble with the white witches, it's time to go for her tria…

Make up Recommendations and how to use!

This is a Primer for your eyelids, it is used to ready your eyelids for eye-shadow. Just like a painter it's best to prime your canvas so that the colours stay on well, are bright and so the colour doesn't crease.  To apply you just take out the wand and apply a little to your eyelid and then take your finger and spread the lotion across the bottom and top of your eyelid until it is all covered.  Then your ready for some eye-shadow!

Here is a great eye-shadow palette.  It has lots of beautiful colours that you can mix and match.  It's pretty much a do all-in-one.  For most this one palette would be enough to make your whole eye-shadow collection.  There are so many looks that can be done with eye=shadow.  Just try anything!  Experiment! Don't be scared to make a mistake because it can be washed off!  In makeup there are no rules!

I'd like to recommend this Cheek highlighter to those ladies who like a nice shine that makes you look Dewey.  It gives a great highlight …

"How to Date A Werewolf" Review

Image
"How to Date A Werewolf" by Rose Pressey
Riley is a werewolf who owns Mate Dating Service and she is more than happy to step in and lend a hand to lonely lycanthropic hearts all over town.  Riley is a no nonsense girl with a pension for disaster.  Rylie is convinced she is out of luck for love herself due to a family curse that affects only her but when she meets Jack Chandler she is really hoping this curse will end. There is an instant attraction between Riley and Jack, you can feel the sparks fly when they look into each others eyes. I loved how Riley seemed to stay pretty well unconcerned by the disasters that kept happening to her. The messes that happen are pretty funny and the fact that she cries a purse filled with razors and shaving cream well the book will keep you giggling throughout. It will also keep you guessing about who is responsible for all the craziness.  Riley has a best friend and roomate called Lily and she is very funny and adds alot of spice to the book and…
