I decided to continue on with a Canada theme and show you all my hometown.  Our drive starts downtown at the Doctor's office lol Here a picture of my son.

As we leave the Dr.'s office the 1st building you see id Jean Coutu which is a Canadian pharmacy.
We come to an intersection next and to the left is the grocery store Price Choppers.  We often buy our meat there because the prices are a little better then the other groceries in town.  We have 3 big grocery stores and 1 small mom and pop 1.  The 3 big ones are Atlantic Superstore, Sobeys and Price Choppers and the small one is called Theriault's grocery.
Next through our little city is the New Brunswick liquor store and my favorite coffee franchise Tim Horton's. The building next to that is The Canadian Legion and war museum.  The museum is truly worth seeing. On the opposite side is a the major hangout place LOL McDonalds lol
Now we've reached the bridge that goes across the Basin which is beautiful year round.  Once across the bridge, right downtown Main street is a little Village for tourism, it includes a restaurant, boutiques, ice cream parlor and a Huge gazebo in the middle.  The city often has bands or some other entertainment there all summer long.
This is another picture of downtown, just off Main Street.  It's quite quaint.  Next is a picture of our City Hall which also houses Our city police.

This is the High School I graduated from in 1997.  It was an OK school but I'd never wish to go back and do it again lol
This is the bridge we cross on our way home.  As you can see the scenery is gorgeous but at the end on one side it's not so pretty.  Our Wood mill was closed down and sold, now everything has been knocked down and is being recycled.  It looks more like a dump then anything.  I look forward to the eye-sore being gone.
After getting off the bridge we stopped at my favorite place lol
TIM HORTONS drive thru lol
I even took a picture of the Menu to share with you all lol

This is when my camera batteries died lol
We were less then 5 minutes from home so I guess it's ok.  I hope you enjoyed your journey through my city.  I love my Hometown.  Here are a few Facts about my little city.

I look forward to all the comments and I hope you'll leave one for me :D

It’s been twenty years since security specialist Charley Roper and country star Dallas Creed had their bitter parting. Now a killer has brought them together again, but neither is ready for a reunion—despite signs that their explosive chemistry hasn’t waned with time. She can’t forget the feel of his hands on her body. He can’t forget the hot touch of her mouth. When they finally tumble into bed, the sex is just as good as they remember, hot enough to singe the sheets. But is it enough?Thrown together during an exhausting, frenzied concert tour, with a killer nipping at their heels, Dallas and Charley find themselves on a hot, suspenseful, erotic roller coaster ride. Can he convince her to trust her heart to him one more time, to reach out for a richer, deeper, more mature love?More importantly—can Charley keep Dallas alive long enough for either of them to enjoy a second chance?

A really cool aspect of this book is that it starts from the killer's point of view. He's after a famous musician called Dallas Creed.  The killer misses his target and has no choice but to try again.  Dallas's brother Morgan hires "Roper Protective Agency" which is run by Dallas's former lover Charlie.
Charlie and Dallas have a history that goes back 20 years, when they broke up it was not pretty.  Now years later Charlie fights her instincts to run the other way as fast as she can, but she feels she can do no other then guard Dallas from a real and dangerous threat.
Dallas feels this may be his second chance to have Charlie back in his life, so he uses their time together to try and win her back.
This Book is extremely packed with goodies.  There's intrigue, mystery, action and hot sex! No one could resist such a buffet to read!

Long lost love and second chances is only part of what this book has to offer.  I'd like to share with you one of my favorite paragraphs from "Downstroke."
"We'll take it slow, okay? I'll give you as much time as you need.  Just as long as you don't try to hide from me." She pressed a soft kiss on his lips, more affection than passion but his cock still responded.
This is also a true love story.  There is nothing that makes a relationship stronger then compromise and Desiree Holt demonstrates it time and time again in her books.  Her understanding of relationships and the vast emotions that comes with them makes her books some of the best I have ever read.
This Book kept me up very late because I just could not put it down.  I had to know what would happen next and how it all tied up together in the end.  Not only was the end perfect for this book but the book as a whole kept me guessing.  It made a nice change not being able to guess who the killer was from the beginning. LOL  So what do I rate this book?  I give it 5 STARS!!!  I loved it and I recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome read that will keep you guessing long into the night!

In My News lol

June 26, 2011

This week has been a great one for the blog!  W e had Minnette Meador over for a visit and many people came to ask questions and leave comments.  I adore all the great Feedback I recieved on the blog.  Makes me feel like I'm doing something right lol.  Thank you so much Minnette for being a guest.

In my own personal business, I finshed writing my first ever novella :D  I cannot wait to share it with the world!  It's a Erotic Paranormal Romance.  It stars a Big beautiful woman and to very unlikely Leprechauns lol  Bet you didn't see that coming.
Edits on the story are being done now by a wonderful friend of mine called Amanda and I know she is going to do an awesome job :D
Besides that I have been applying everywhere I can to do product reviews, which I would post here and on FB for all my followers and then I could start having more giveaways for you all.
I have also just finished repainting my son's bedroom.  WOW  what a job but I think it turned out quite well.

Besides all that fun stuff I've been spending time with hubby and the kids at the waterpark or the park and enjoying the beautiful weather.  I sit and watch the kids play while reading books on my Kindle lol
Here's a few pics :)

And last but not least I decided to join a weight loss contest!!!  Oh my!  This is going to be extremely tough for me.  I have a terrible time losing weight due to medical problems but I've set my mind to it and I'm going to do it.  The contest is called "Romance Biggest Winner"  It starts July 1st and lasts for 6 months.  I could stand to lose 150lbs.  But I am aiming for a 50lbs. loss.  I keep everyone updated on my progress in the months to come but I won't clog up the blog with it.  I'm even going to do before and after pics lol
So, wish me luck!!!
Hope you all have a great week and wonderful weather!  HUGS TO ALL!

A Ghost of a Chance!

I'm very proud to say that we have Minnette Meador with us today as a guest author.  I was lucky enough to catch her on her blog tour!  So grab your coffee, tea or even wine and enjoy Minnette's devine characters!

Keenan Swanson is your typical, everyday graphic designer. Well, except for the hundreds of pesky, prank-loving poltergeists that make his life interesting (in a Chinese curse sort of way). He finds his situation precarious yet manageable—until witty, smoking-hot coworker Isabella enters the scene and Keenan decides he wants her all for himself. With a horny succubus who has other ideas, a burly city cop determined to lock Keenan away, and an evil entity who’s hell-bent on using Keenan’s seed to create a living demon, the reluctant psychic realizes he just might not come out of this alive—or with heart intact.

By Minnette Meador

Goal: To get the girl and save the world
Barriers: Ghosts that make him crazy and a succubus who needs his seed to create a living demon. A cop who seems determined to lock Keenan away for good. A demon who seems to be pulling all the strings.

Occupation: HR Director
Looks: Beautiful, Mediterranean, dark hair & eyes
Attributes: Witty, smart, aggressive, strong
Goal: To get Keenan
Barriers: Keenan’s insistence that she is better off without him.

Occupation: Ghost – Former Anthropologist

Origins: Born in England and died in Persia on a dig
Attributes: Brilliant, cocky, English, suave, lady’s man

Occupation: Ghost – Former Housewife

Occupation: Portland Police Sergeant

So what do you think? This is my wide vision (keeping in mind I’m limited to what stock photos I can find and legally post). I’d love to answer any questions you have, so go ahead and comment.

I am so grateful Leanne made room for me on her wonderful blog. Thanks, girl! M:o)

Now how about a sneak peek!

“Isabella, isn’t it?” Keenan hadn’t seen a ring on her finger, around her neck, or a Love John Forever tattoo any place noticeable, so he assumed she was available.
“Right. You’re Keenan. We met the other day.”
Usually he didn’t have problems talking to girls, but now it was harder than it had ever been. A hundred witty comebacks crowded his brain for attention, but not one of them could make it past the lump in his throat. His growing cock wasn’t going to be much help either; all it wanted him to do was blurt out, “Ya wanna?”
Bracing himself against possible rejection, and telling his cock to shut the fuck up, Keenan gathered his courage and charged into the fray. “Say listen, if you’re not…”
The elevator jarred to a halt and the doors burst open in front of them. At least fifteen people piled into the box, disregarding the “maximum occupancy” sign.
Keenan hit his back hard against the railing and suddenly found his arms full of warm, healthy girl.
The sounds around him came to a crashing halt when he fixated on those gorgeous almond eyes and full red lips. The urge to devour that mouth was irresistible. He felt like he was home. Her balmy scent marinated his brain, clouding out everything else. The velvet skin of her naked arms made his palms tingle.
A sudden terror seized him when he realized his rod stood at full attention, shouting, “Yippee!” Since the crowd had crushed Isabella against him, she must have felt it jumping like an excited dog against her stomach. To Keenan’s amazement, she didn’t say a word and smiled sweetly up at him. Her expression was almost pleased. It boggled his mind.
“Sorry,” he managed after a few precious seconds.
He let go and fully expected her to scrunch as far away from him as possible, a murmured “pervert” escaping her lips. Instead, she slid up next to him and stayed attached to his shoulder, turning her lovely breasts to the doors.
Keenan had a hard time keeping his eyes off them, noting with interest that both nipples were little rocks against the black fabric. He forced himself to focus on the bald spot on the head of the guy in front of him. He hoped to God the man wasn’t pushed back; in Keenan’s current state, it might be difficult to explain what rested against the man’s ass.

5 Stars for Pamela Clare's Extreme Exposure (I-Team Series, Book1)

Extreme Exposure

Sparks fly when a hardboiled reporter meets a handsome senator. But a political scandal-and attempts on her life-could drive them apart. Or maybe adversity could draw them into a bond even more intense than their steamy sexual embraces.

Investigative Reporter Kara McMillan is in a night club waiting on her friend Holly and drinking margaritas.  With liquid courage Kara walks up to a State Senator she recognized in the bar and before she can stop herself she says his name.  Senator Sherridan offers her another drink and she accepts.  Next thing she knows a blonde bombshell shows up as Sherridan's dinner companion.  Kara feels shot down as he goes into the restaurant to eat with the other lady.  Finally Kara's friend shows up and they go into the restaurant to gossip about men and sex.  By this time Kara is very tipsy.

Reminiscing about what she liked best about a sexual relationship Kara divulges some very risque things only to be overheard by the Senator. With seeing the humor in what Kara is saying he has a seat and chats with the ladies.  Kara's friend decides to leave, she is hoping that Kara will have a great night with Sherridan.  Stuck with no drive or money for a cab Kara gladly accepts Sherridans offer for a drive home.  When home she invites him in but he declines because he knows she is intoxicated but he really had to fight himself not to indulge.
The next day Kara gets sucked into the story of a lifetime, environmental hazards, big money and cover-ups.  Action packed and full of twists and turns this book will suck you in!

I really enjoyed this book, it had just the right amount of suspense, action and romance.  Kara is a believable character. Mother, career woman and investigator she really brings the story alive with her loving nature to her son and gumption to revealing the truth.  The hero, Senator Sherridan is a hunk with a heart and yours will just melt as you learn more and more about him throughout the story.  With many twist and turns this book will keep you reading late into the night and have you feeling anxious for what will happen next.
Don't give up a chance to read this book, the story is truly worth reading and the ending will leave you very satisfied.  I give this book a heartfelt 5 stars!

A Small Tribute To My Husband For Father's Day

#1 DAD

This is my wonderful Hubby- to -be Claude, we recently celebrated our 7 year Anniversary.  Claude and I met online and chatted via webcam and telephone only a few months before moving in together.  We fell in love pretty much right away.
You're probably asking yourself "What made you fall in love with Claude?"  Well I'll tell you!

One evening, living in Halifax, NS.  I was on the telephone with Claude when I heard my daughter calling for help up stairs.  I ran to see what was wrong, only to find my daughter looking over the top of the bathroom door.  She looked down at me and said "Mommy, I'm stuck!"  I asked her what in the world was she thinking climbing up there.  Her answer was "I just wanted to touch the ceiling."
I couldn't help but crack a little smile at that.
Returning back to the phone Claude asked me what happen.  I could tell he was very concerned.  I told him of my darling daughter's little escapade and we had a good laugh.  Then in all seriousness Claude tells me "If I was her dad she wouldn't need to climb anything, I'd always help her to touch the ceiling"  That was the moment I fell in love with him.  It was such a little thing but it said so much about the type of father he is. You know he did always help her touch the ceiling until she got to old to lift though lol now he hands her a chair lol

Lexi and Claude....

In 2005,  Claude and I had our son Cedric.  There was such joy in us both when he was born.  Claude was the biggest help when I was pregnant and after our baby was born.
I can honestly say that he was always helping with the baby and the housework.  He has always been my equal partner in everything.

Claude's infinite patience, selflessness, understanding and depth for love amazes me constantly and is only a small part of why we love him.  Each and everyday, he is there for our children and they know that no matter what comes they can depend on him.  It's because of this I say he is THE #1 FATHER! and THE #1 HUBBY-TO-BE!

When dreaming of my "Prince Charming" as a young girl, I would dream of a man who would sweep me off me feet.
But, I am so lucky because I ended up with better then that.  He swept me off my feet and is truly my best friend and the most wonderful father.

We love you so much and we want you to know that everything you do is so appreciated!

With love,
Lexi and Cedric
