I love Joan Swan's writing!  I've been pretty lucky at getting to review Joan's books, her writing style is clean, uncluttered and the story-lines are easy to follow. This series is the bomb, it's got everything I look for in books. Action, mystery, intrigue, romance and paranormal elements.  It's the perfect read to take me away from the every day deluge.

Halina has been hiding for years but has just been found by Mitch.  While her world crumbles around her she clutches to her secrets even more. With powers she doesn't completely comprehend she saves Mitch's life over and over. Mitch knows there's more to Halina's story and he intends to find out what she is hiding before time runs out.

Joan Swan is one of my favorite new author's out there.  I hope you will give her books a try because your missing out if you don't.  I give this book 5 STARS!!!!

Our final destination is................ Waverly Hills Sanatorium, located in Louisville, Kentucky, opened in 1910 as a two-story hospital to accommodate 40 to 50 tuberculosis patients. It has since come to be considered one of the most haunted buildings in the Eastern United States. In the early 20th century, Jefferson County was severely stricken with an outbreak of tuberculosis. The original Waverly Hills building was soon home to over 140 patients. A larger hospital was needed for the overwhelming number of patients coming in, so construction of a five-story building that could hold more than 400 patients began in March 1924. Welcome Back to Day 2 of Our Halloween Bash!!!!

Welcome Back Everyone! Today we will be exploring the wondrous Town of Halloween. Halloween Town is my children's favourite Halloween Movie.  I thought it might be fun to put a little spin on this make-believe town. During the day Halloween Town looks like a lovely place to visit and play.  But!  At Night it turns into a spooky and scary place.  We are going to do like most Ghost Hunters and explore this town.  Let's see what do we need....   OK Everyone grab a piece of equipment and let's start exploring! To the right we have a graveyard, who wants to explore there?  Be sure to bring your camera and recorder to try and catch some EVPs.  You never know what ghostly voices might come about.  Down the road a little i another Haunted house, be sure to stay away from the windows, they are seriously creepy.
