Reviewing a few short books
One minute I'm locked out of my hotel room, and the next... Dylan Hargreave thinks I'm an actress paid to pose as his girlfriend at a North Carolina society wedding. How did this happen to me, of all people? Kendall Clarke, award-winning actuary, the veritable shining star of number crunchers who, just hours ago, learned her responsible fiancé (sorry, ex-fiancé) called off our wedding because he'd gotten one of my colleagues pregnant. What are the odds? Don't tell me you've never heard of Dylan Hargreave. Celebrity NASCAR driver? People magazine's Sexiest Man of the Year? Those eyes. That smile... Forget sensible! This book I enjoyed quite a bit, it was very funny and believable. Kendall is what we call a "NERD" and Dylan is certainly the "HUNK". There's some controversy throughout the story which keeps it interesting. It's a light read but a good one.
Jason is all man on the surface, but wolf shifter down to the bone. He’s more than ready to stop “playing the pack” and find his one true mate, and Sydney of the luscious curves is the woman of his dreams. Finding out that she comes from a family sworn to eradicate his kind isn’t a deal-breaker. But her outrageous plan for him to masquerade as the wolf in hunter’s clothing, right under her father’s very nose, could be asking more than he ever expected to give.
Howling for my baby, wasn't at all believable but it was still fun to read it. Sydney is a strong but emotional heroine and Jason is an Alpha who's not quite bossy for an alpha. I honestly think Jason could have been a more take charge and forceful person in this book but he seems more easy going then most Alphas that I've read about. The book was funny and had me laughing out loud or befuddled a few times. It's a fast and light hearted read.

This Book was a HOT READ!!! Yummy from beginning to end. I liked this book because it was sexy, easy to follow and the heroes were oh so Scrumptious lol Nate is somewhat an ass but because he and his buds have hurt before and Truly is insecure but with the help of the heroes she seems to get over it. Lots of sex and humour in this book, I recommend it as a must read Menagerie :)
