I think the best costume I ever wore was a witches outfit and I actualy painted my nails black and did my eyes in green eye shadow. Now though that the kids are grown and out of the house, I pass out candy and get a kick out of watching the little kids dressing up in their favorite superhero outfits - so cute.

I kind of like your flamingo and crow look, the way you pulled off the crow look sort of reminds me of something one would see at a ballet.

I haven't dressed in anything real creative since I was a little younger, in fact I think it was when I was High School.

I was reading the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon so I was trying to pull off a Dark Huntress look, it turned out pretty well!

The only downside was my feet were killing me afterwords, never wear nice shoes when you know you'll be walking all over the neighborhood.

Next to this year's costume I think that one was my favorite!

I haven't been very inventive when dressing up for Halloween, been the standard witch, gypsy, etc. One thing I do love doing is glittering my hair, I have waist-length hair and have loved using that glitter hairspary ;)

Just stopping by to say 'hello' and wish you a Happy Halloween! One year I did 'Carrie' at the prom and scared the wits out of the kids! This year, I'm considering Lady Godiva since my hair is past my butt and I'm getting ready to chop it off soon. :)

I'm a follower! I haven't dressed up in years, more than I would like to admit, but I guess my favorite would have been a witch.

I think my favorite was Little Caesar--complete with pizzas on a staff!

As for my children...one year my daughter balked at wearing the angel costume she'd wanted. She wore her new winter jacket instead and told everyone she was a coat!

When my kids were really young (pre-school age), I dressed up as a witch. I wore the green makeup and everything - scared the crap out of my kids. When Halloween came around the next year the kids were really worried about what kind of costume I would wear. They didn't want to be scared again. One of my kids went as Blue from Blues Clue's. I took it easy on them wore street clothes with a paw print on my shoulder. I went as Blue's Clue.
