Holidays usually bring me that warm fuzzy feeling…well…okay after all the panic and stress I go through of prepping for the holidays. The Christmas shopping, arguments over parking spaces, grabbing for Christmas wish list items, waiting in long lines that give me gray hairs, having to wrap up everything and hide them, preparing for guests, attempts at cooking (ßnotice how I said attempts…I can’t stress how much you do not want me in your kitchen), then all the RSVPs that don’t show or holiday phone calls you forgot to make to people who couldn’t make it to your house…It’s stressful!
But once Christmas morning hits, everything is calm. Smiles are shared. Presents are opened. Everyone is happy…except for the people who get that ugly Christmas sweater…or coal in their stocking (That may be me…).
Holidays bring joy! And love! It’s the best time to reunite with your loves ones! Spend quality moments together and rejoice over past holidays!
